Digital fingerprints will become increasingly important. This is my prediction. For example, if people with a certain personality disorder have a distinct facebook usage pattern, people could be screened for mental illnesses by comparing their facebook usage patterns with the normal usage patterns.

There could be an obvious, common-sense differences. Perhaps people with OCD tend to have a more consistent, repetitive page viewing pattern. There could also be in small, unexpected differences that don’t seem that logical on the surface. Maybe people with depression have a higher ratio of liking posts to commenting on posts then the average person, for example. It could be a useful, though, of course, inconclusive, diagnostic tool. I reserve the rights to tell everyone that I had this idea first when someone else has a lot of success with it.
